What's with the name? I was born and raised in New England, primarily north of Boston,
Massachusetts in a city called Haverhill. After 10 years in the Navy I moved to Jeffersonville, Indiana where I
still reside today. Indiana is the Hoosier State.

At the age of 18 in 1977 I volunteered for Navy service and
served for nearly 10 years as a Boiler Technician. After getting married and being blessed with a son and daughter I
felt I had done my service to our Country and went back to being a civilian as a Boiler and Machinery Inspector. After
a year of being away from the big blue pond I decided to volunteer as a Navy Reservists where I stayed for 12 more years and
retired. My wife, Sherry and I have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
